Vendicari has not be visited only for its birds. Here you can find one of the very few unpolluted and sandy coasts of Sicily with typical plants and animanls of  Sahara desert. Another part of the coast, instead, is rocky and it presents very suggestive angles and “calette” such as Calamosche beach.

On the inside of the riserve of Vendicari stands the Calamosche parking lot, born  because of a private enterprise under authorization of a public forested company and of a superintendence to B.B.C.C. It has the intente to provide a series of receptive services to answer better to visitor’s needs. It allows going into and visiting the reserve through a gate, called “Calamosche”, which permitts to reach both the homonymous beach and other characteristic “calette” in few minutes and to visit the small quagmire.

The protect parking service and all the bound services give the visitors the best conditions to visit the protect area. The buildings there, have not influenced in the least the environment of the area in which the parking lot  is present, because they have been thought and built respecting the laws into force.

For this intente, essential services have been created to yield more available the riserve of Vendicari.
